Dramatized segments and computer animations illustrate ways to determine the financial advantages of a staggered breeding schedule at a dairy farm; allocate rack space in a CD store, based on regional and local sales figures; and decide whether an athlete's physical characteristics indicate competition as a sprinter or as a distance runner.
